Last night we saw Link Wray at the Village Underground (formerly Folk City). Imagine a small, 73-year-old guy with a long ponytail, a black Strat and a Marshall stack. Loud, loud, out-of-tune avant garde power trio. He said it was his son on bass. Also on stage was a drummer and Wray's Danish wife beating a tambourine with a drumstick and fixing his ponytail.
