"In the mid-1980s, Rods and Cones, a quirky, 12-legged Boston band, crawled under people’s skins with their throbbing local hit “Education in Love.” The group’s chugging, percussive sound and the unbridled performances of lead vocalist Chris Kelley made Rods and Cones one of the must-see live acts of that storied era. In 2010, the Cones regrouped to perform a few tunes, and the results were so well received that for one night only, Rods and Cones will return to play a full set at the Brighton Music Hall.
