Hello, I will be playing a rare solo set of original tunes this Saturday, June 21, at 11 a.m. at Willoughby Plaza in Downtown Brooklyn, at the corner of Willoughby Street and Pearl Street. And it’s free.
What is this about? Good question. This Saturday is the longest day of the year, and that means it’s time for Make Music New York, a program that organizes about 1,200 free concerts that day, all around the city.
Sure, 11 a.m. is early, but hey, the birds will be tweeting by 5:45 a.m., and these summer mornings are nice. So have a nice morning for yourself, drink your coffee, then have a leisurely walk over to Willoughby Plaza.
